Tiemblo. La primera vez que escuche una canción tuya me enamoré. Me sentía la hija del trompetista (the blower's daughter). Hablaba de un final, como muchas otras canciones. Ritmo lento, suaves acordes de guitarra.  Me gustaba. Pero la cosa quedó ahí. No sé cuando, pero tomé  una decisión. Escucharte. Y me enganché. Me volví una adicta a la melancolía de tu voz y de tu guitarra, a la tristeza de tus letras y a ese matiz de amor. A ese toque gris en la habitación (grey room), al agua fría (cold water) y a Amie (Amie). Musica redonda y perfecta (O). Eres tú el que me lleva a ese mundo, allá lejos, donde  los nueve crímenes (9 crimes) están permitidos. Tu voz me sacudió como una bala de cañon (cannonball). Te quería hacer un homenaje, pero no sé si lo estoy consiguiendo, entiendo que sea un tema delicado (delicate). Como el marfil de los elefantes (Elephant), que no es blanco brillante pero que aún así es bonito. Recuerdo (I remember) cuando para mi no eras nadie. Supongo que, realmente, sigues sin ser "nadie"... .y sin embargo, tu voz es demasiado para mi, como un volcán (volcano) que lo puede con todo. Los animales se habían ido (animals were gone), incluso la rata en el granero (the rat within the grain) y los perros (dogs) corrían salvajes, buscando a esa chica que hacía yoga. Guardaba todo en unos viejos baúles (older chests). Bueno, las cosas cambian. Quería dormir y no llorar (sleep, don't weep), pero no sé si será posible. Ahora recurro a ti cuando quiero llegar lejos.
